I thought Donald Trump’s book, The Art of the Deal, was fascinating.
In the last few lines he wrote, “The biggest challenge I see over the next twenty years is to figure out some creative ways to give back some of what I’ve gotten…In my life, there are two things I’ve found I’m very good at: overcoming obstacles and motivating good people to do their best work.
I see this all happening now. His service as president is what he has been preparing for his whole life. And don’t we see that he is so good at overcoming many obstacles and also motivating good people to do their best work. We can give praise to God for preparing this man to serve in such an evil time as this.
Though many people are against him, I believe God has been preparing him for this job as president; and he will be used to do much good in America and also in the world. In a way, he may be just like Joseph. His brothers hated him, and did evil against him, but God used their evil deeds for good—to save the entire people of Israel and also the Egyptians (Gen. 50:20).
Likewise, just as Trump may have been in business for himself, to benefit himself, it seems that God is now using it now for good—to help many people.
